The US Air Force Reserve has special C-130 cargo aircraft, that are modified for the aerial spray mission. They release a mist like giant crop dusters. They are used after disasters, like hurricanes, to kill musquitos. They are used for other similar purposes. I have written the US Congress to utilize them, & never heard a thing. The New York Times reported about 2-3 years ago that the Afghan government was concerned about the population being harmed by the spray. Hence, NATO is forced to use a slow, futile, & dangerous manual method of eradication. They are based at Youngstown Air Reserve Base, Ohio, where I used to serve as a reservist. Check out the neglect, & failed effort, to use these highly effecective erradication methods. This alone is a scandal!! I look forward to reading your book!!
I saved the Jon Stewart show you were on for my wife to watch. I also plan on having my children watch it. The actions of everyday drug using / drug seeking members of societies around the world is incredibly destructive. The second order effects of the hazards to US troops and to police officers and average citizens around the globe by the drug dealers/trafficers/users is the worst crime.
Yes, addicts have it hard, and cheap morphine to help them come down off there addiction would be great. My preference is for the world to be educated to the hazards and disasters caused by the use in the first place.
